Job Title: Research Assistant 研究助理

Job details:

I'm currently looking for a full-time research assistant who can report duty in Aug/Sep, 2022.

Responsibilities: The Research Assistant will assist Professor Yanbo Wang and Professor Jiang Bian in innovation and entrepreneurship research. Duties include assisting with fieldwork, compiling data from primary and secondary sources, analysis and programming, algebraic analysis, reviewing research, and writing. Current projects include program evaluations; studies of cognitive bias in early-stage venture evaluation; studies of gender and venture failures; studies of science funding policy; studies of knowledge commercialization; and studies of medical innovation.

Qualifications and skills:

• Degree(s) in Science, Engineering and Economics/Business would be preferred.

• Skilled in programming (Stata or R, Python would be a plus) and statistics.

• Willing to work independently, diligently, and learn.

• You should work well with others and speak English and Chinese for the fieldwork.

Career: This is a particularly good opportunity if you are interested in PhD studies. The research assistantship will give you training and exposure to research in strategic management, especially in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship.

Term: Full-time from August/September 2022 for at least three months, renewable. Part-time until joining full-time.
